Which level is right for each student?
Each student will take a placement test to determine their starting language level, so they can be placed in the appropriate class. Each Cambridge exam is structured so that students can develop and, over the years, improve the four fundamental language skills

Cambridge Programs for All Ages

Pre-Starters
⏱️ 2 years
• 1st–2nd grade
This course is designed as an introduction to the English language. Young students begin to explore the language through play.

Pre-A1 Starters
⏱️ 1 year
• 3rd–4th grade
This course introduces English through simple vocabulary, short sentences, and visual activities. It is the first step for children who are just beginning to learn English.

A1 Movers
⏱️ 1 year
• 5th grade/1st year of middle school
This level is designed to reinforce the basics: more complex sentences, comprehension of short texts, and simple dialogues. It is the second level.

A2 Flyers
⏱️ 2 years
• 7th–8th grade
This level helps children develop stronger communication skills: reading longer texts, writing short messages, and engaging in more complex conversations.

A2 Key for Schools
⏱️ 1 year
• 8th grade
The exam corresponds to Level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and demonstrates that the student is able to use English at a basic level.

B1 Preliminary for Schools
⏱️ 2 years
• 1st/2nd year of high school
The exam corresponds to Level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and demonstrates that the student is able to use English at an intermediate level.

B2 First for Schools
⏱️ 2 years
• 11th/12th grade
The exam corresponds to Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and demonstrates that the student is able to use English at an upper-intermediate level.

C1 Advanced
⏱️ 2 years
• 11th/12th grade
The exam focuses on Level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and is an advanced level required in academic and professional settings.

C2 Proficiency
⏱️ 2 years
• 5th year of high school/college
The exam focuses on Level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, which represents a level of complete proficiency required in academic and professional settings.
